House with pool on the River Vienne

The two bedroom property is situated on the bank of the river Vienne, in the south Loire Valley with easy access from the A10 autoroute. Less than an hour to Tours or Poitiers airports Well furnished and equipped, adjoining the owners house. Rural property 15 minutes to all amenities. Futuroscope, Chateaux of the Loire, within easy reach. Small private garden. Access to pool June to Sept, secure parking. Bar and restaurant 1.5 kilometer away. Bikes available on request. 3 night minimum stay. A light and airy space, well appointed with a modern fitted kitchen, breakfast bar and separate dining and comfortable seating area. A small courtyard garden leading down to the river Vienne offers fantastic opportunity for keen fishermen and there is a "Mis en eau' not far away for canoes and kayak . A secluded pool is available from June to September and pool towels are included in the rental price The house has a small private garden but visitors are welcome to enjoy the whole of the grounds and full use of the pool although you may have to share these facilities with the owners if they are resident in the main house When we are resident in the main house we would be available to share a glass of wine and a chat or sort out any problems. In addition there is a delightful couple 15 min away who will help with any queries The house is situated in a small hamlet minutes from the Route National 10. The name translates as the beak of two rivers, The Creuse and the Vienne. The local bar/restaurant/hotel, about one mile away and newly refurbished also acts as a Depot de Pain. Open 7 days a week for lunch and on Friday and Saturday evening for dinner, such is it's reputation for reasonable priced excellent food booking is essential! A 15 minute drive will get you to either the town of Descartes or St. Maure de Touraine all with bars, banks restaurants and supermarkets. The south Loire is renowned for its wine, gastronomy and beautiful chateaux such as Chinon Villandry Samur and many others all within easy reach. Futuroscope is an hours drive and the lovely old town of Loche with its vibrant Wednesday market half an hour away There is a mainline station connecting with Tours to the north and onwards to Poitiers within a 5 minute drive. From here there are links to both airports by bus or by TGV to Paris .
