Located at a peaceful, residential neighborhood, the property is around 5 to 10 minutes away from Silliman University and downtown Dumaguete. A 10 to 15-minute walk takes you to north boulevard with a stretch of nightlife amenities such as Tiki Bar, Cafe Mafioso, Lantaw Restaurant, Hayahay Treehouse, etc. The room is very conducive for backpackers, couples or solo travelers. Room 5 is on the second floor. The room is new with cable TV, wifi connection, cool air conditioning and hot/cold shower. Towels are provided along with basic toiletries. The area is gated and ideal for short or average duration stays. The second floor rooms are stairs access only (no elevator or ramp for persons with disability). It is self check-in so please make sure to read the check-in guide before going to the property. Information is also sent through Airbnb messaging. To ensure a smooth process, please take time to read. * For long term bookings, room cleaning and bed linens are changed every 4 days with the guest's consent. Common hallway, parking and garden area. The host does not live in the same building and is not always available to meet guests upon their arrival which is why the property is self check-in. You can reach the host anytime via text, call, or through Airbnb messaging for any questions or if you need help getting around. Things you can do in Dumaguete City: Beach resort hopping, diving, zipline, snorkling, hiking, ATV adventures, lakes and rivers. A 30-min barge ride and a few minutes drive west will take you to Oslob for whale watching, a little over an hour drive north will take you to Manjuyod for dolphin watching and the sandbar. Around 30 minutes drive south will take you to Zamboangita for snorkling/diving at Apo Island. The Dumaguete boulevard is a stretch of restaurants and cafes or simply take a stroll early morning to catch the sunrise or early evening for the sunset. Dumaguete City has no taxi/uber/grab service. The most common mode of transportation is a motorcycle cab (known as pedicab or tricycle) and can be found everywhere for a starting rate of P10 per head. There are also 2-wheel motorcycles for rent around Dumaguete City. Private vehicles with driver can also be rented on a daily basis. The property is a 5 to 10-minute walk to the main road. There are instances, although seldom, of power interruptions in certain areas of the city. This is usually unannounced and for a few minutes only. The property is new and is not yet equipped with a generator so it might get hot especially in the afternoon. Each room is equipped with an emergency light in case of unexpected power outage at night.
