Our place is a spacious, ground floor apartment with 3 separate rooms (double beds), fully furnished, air-conditioned, stocked with food, fresh towels, and free Wi-Fi. The main square is only 15 min away by foot or 5 min with public transport, the tram stop is around the corner. The neighbourhood is safe with the green market, business centre, shops, bars, restaurants, museums and parks. Nearby is Eye Clinic Svjetlost, and Orthopedic Surgery Clinic Akromion is across the street. Very cozy and spacious apartment (75m2) in a quiet side street, only 15 minutes from the main square (Trg bana Jelačića). One side of the apartment has a view on the inner, quiet, and green courtyard. This is a spacious, modern flat with 3 bedrooms. This place sleeps up to 5 people, in 3 individual double beds. We have one queen-size bed in the master bedroom, one double size bed in the second bedroom, and one sofa bed, which stretches into a double bed in the third. All bedrooms are private, and within each one is remote controlled plasma TV with cable. In the main room, you will find a controller for room temperature and air-conditioning for the entire place. There is high-speed internet throughout the flat. The kitchen is ready to use with gas/electric stove, fan oven, dishwasher (detergents included), and cooking appliances like microwave and toaster. We have a kitchen dinner table suitable for 5, as well as all dinnerware, pots, and pans needed to prepare a meal. Also, the pantry is stored with few basic groceries like flour, oil, canned tomatoes and beans, and so on. In the bathroom, you can refresh in a walk-in shower, wash your clothes in the washing machine (detergents included), and iron them later (iron and ironing board included). There is also a hairdryer, bathing essentials, and not to forget clean and fresh towels. We are on the ground floor of a 5 story building, so there are only a few steps up to our door and private courtyard and you are quickly inside. Every part of the apartment is at your disposal, as well as the building's private yard space. Feel free to contact us at any time via mobile phone or e-mail. We never come to the apartment unless you call us. In case of emergency, we are available 24 hours. This part of the city is called Kvatric, after its green market located in the heart of the neighbourhood. The apartment's location provides easy access to public transport and a green market where you can find some fresh fruit and vegetables or meat directly from Croatian farms. Also, guests can find a wide selection of groceries for vegetarians and vegans in nearby local shops. For children, we recommend the nearby park or Zagreb Zoo. You can start your day with a good cup of coffee in a Brazilian bar or pastry shop just across the street, which offer excellent coffee and some divine cakes. If you feel hungry, choose one of the local restaurants offering local food at really affordable prices. For some culture or art, take a 3-minute walk to the nearby museums and galleries. Automobile museum Ferdinand Budicki is around the corner, and the Croatian Association of Visual Artists (HDLU) building is within walking distance, about 10 minutes from the apartment building. Public transport is just around the corner from us, in Zvonimirova street. If you decide to walk, it will take you about 15 minutes to get to the main (Jelacic) square. If you choose to go in the other direction, you will reach park Maksimir, and hidden in its forest is the Zagreb Zoo. Shops, bars, restaurants, parks, and museums are all within walking distance. If you come by car, there is no free parking available because we are in the city centre. You can either buy a daily parking ticket or park in a nearby public garage where you pay 30 kunas (around 4 euro) for 24 hours of parking. All kinds of public transportation are available at this location. The main bus and train station are just 10 minutes away via public transport, 5 minutes by car or about 20 minutes by foot. Although located in the city centre, the apartment and the building itself are quiet, and next-door neighbours are friendly and helpful - a perfect place to experience the city life of Zagreb.
