Originally an Orchardist's Cottage this home has been beautifully restored as a cosy getaway in the Mitcham Hills. Close enough to the city of Adelaide to enjoy the Adelaide & Fringe Festivals, Womadelaide as well as Cricket and AFL at Adelaide Oval yet set within the greenery of the Mitcham Hills & the beauty of the Belair National Park & Carrick Hill. A short drive to historical German settlement of Hahndorf the wineries of McLaren Vale and local beaches. Old world character but with modern amenities. The original rooms within the cottage have high ceilings and wooden floors with two open fireplaces - the dining and the lounge (which also has a TV). The third bedroom has a queen bed (where you have more than five guests) or a futon bed - please let us know your requirements before booking, The whole cottage is yours apart from a bedroom which is locked and will be unoccupied during your stay - the whole cottage is yours. Blackwood is close by with shopping centres, restaurants, doctors, dry cleaners and lots of places to have coffee. Close to suburban trains (Blackwood Station is a 5 minute drive) and a local bus to the City is only 150 m away.
