We are on hand throughout guests stay and provide an emergency out of hour's telephone number for your peace of mind. We like to give our guests space to enjoy their stay, but we are on hand and available when needed. Bookings over 1 week will receive a complimentary weekly linen change carried out by our housekeeping team, we will inform you of the scheduled day that this will take place. An additional housekeeping service can be arranged upon request. Folly Bridge is a historical stone bridge erected in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , in the centre of Oxford over the River Thames. The bridge is in two parts separated by an island. The area known as Folly Bridge is just a short walk to the breath taking Christ Church College, the staircase of which is increasingly photographed by visitors after featuring in the Harry Potter films! The Ashmolean and Pitt Rivers are two museums which can be visited and are again within walking distance. From Folly Bridge you can walk to the centre of Oxford where you can join walking tours of the city, can visit the historical covered market or take a stroll along the canal to other quaint and quirky suburbs such as Jericho or Osney Island. Folly Bridge joins the Abingdon Road to the South of the City which houses the suburbs of Grandpont and New Hinksey. Located on Folly Bridge is the Folly Restaurant which serves modern British Cuisine on the bank of the River Thames. Oxford is a small city so you can get to most places by foot. The city recently introduced pay as you go bikes which can be used by downloading an app, such as OFO and Pony bikes. The central bus station is located on George Street. There are a number of bus services covering Oxford and the surrounding areas as well as London and southern airports, just jump on at your nearest stop! The main train station in central Oxford is on New Road, from here you have quick access to London. Alternatively there is the Oxford Parkway train station which travels between Oxford, Bicester village and London Marylebone. We recommend the Royal Cars taxi app.
