Our authentic, bright Tent House with floor to ceiling windows is nested under a traditional unique thatched roof. It is newly renovated, has a fully equipped kitchen, AC, free parking, 2 Bedr+2 Baths. We have no TV, basic WIFI, so we offer a technology-free calm and quiet romantic getaway or a family holiday in nature surrounded by vineyards with a spectacular view of the Badacsony Hill and the lake from our large terrace. STUDIO APARTMENT: (accessible from the street level) - FIRST BED/LIVING ROOM: king bed (160 x 200 cm) next to the large floor to ceiling windows, AC, a small armchair, a standing lamp, and ample storage space in the built-in wardrobe. - SECOND SLEEPING AREA located above the first bedroom / living room on the open LOFT with 3 single beds (80x200 cm). It is accessible by a nearly vertical step ladder. - AMERICAN STYLE KITCHEN: fully equipped for cooking. We have a capsule coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, stove, however no oven. - DINING AREA either on the large terrace or in the living room area. - FIRST BATHROOM: walk in shower with a glass wall, washbasin, mirror, toilet - TERRACE: accessible from the living room /bedroom. 30 m2 area with an open concept: railing around it is only a wooden plank at waist-height. Half of the terrace is covered by the roof, that offers a cooling shade in the afternoon. 2. LOWER FLOOR (only available by default from bookings of 5 person, for 4 person or less available for a surcharge. Accessible from outside of the building via stairs, through a separate second entrance. No indoors access between floors!) - SECOND BEDROOM : king bed (160 x 200 cm) next to the large floor to ceiling windows, 2 sofa beds (80x190 cm), AC, electric shade to darken the room, shelves with kettle, and ample storage space in the built-in wardrobe, terrace access. - SECOND BATHROOM: shower cabin, washbasin with cabinet, mirror, toilet - SECOND TERRACE: 5 m2 area in total, accessible from the second bedroom, has a waist high stone wall around it ★Our house is located on the vine hills of Szigliget. ★We offer 2 bikes as gratis, should you wish to use them, please send us a message some days before arrival! ★We don't rent rooms separately, there won't be any other guests besides your group during your stay. ★We have a cellar where we keep the washing machine, the bicycles and the extra chairs. ★You can access the balcony and backyard of our house, also the outdoor parking area (parking for max 3 cars for free). ★Please note that our property has no fence around it. Our house is located by the western end of Lake Balaton, in Szigliget. The village Szigliget is located around several small hills, on one of which there are the remains of a former castle. Our house is on a small hill as well with a beautiful view to the Balaton Lake and Badacsony hill. The beach is 20 minutes on foot (1,700 meters away), or you can take our complimentary bikes. It is an ideal location for relaxation, but there are also plenty of opportunities for cultural events, gastro and wine tourism, and of course enjoying nature on many tracks or by bicycle. The most convenient way to reach Szigliget is by car. In the village you can reach the small shops, marina or beach with a 20 min walk, or by bike. ★ Apartment has SELF CHECK IN system with a keysafe. We don't meet guests, unless our presence is otherwise required eg. for a technical problem etc. ★Early check-in / late check out or luggage storage at the apartment before check in / after check out is not available at this point. ★ If you need baby amenities (travel crib, baby bath, high chair, plastic dinnerware etc.) please let us know 1-2 days before. ★We provide you with everything you need for your stay including bed linens, fresh towels, and full kitchenware. ★By default we prepare the beds to sleep together. Should you wish to sleep separately (when possible), please advise in advance.
