Luxe executive retreat with all the comforts of home! A luxury 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom courtyard apartment with private entrance in the heart of Tuggeranong. The Vue Residences includes a medical centre, barber, hairdresser, spa and cafe - located at street level. We've enhanced our cleaning protocols so you and your guests are safe while in the comforts of our property. BEDROOMS: Both bedrooms have queen-sized beds and plenty of wardrobe space for your luggage. We provide professionally cleaned and pressed linen for each stay. There's a reverse cycle air conditioning in each bedroom to ensure your comfort. BATHROOMS: The master ensuite and main bathroom has plenty of storage and bench space and include a shower, hand basin and toilet. We provide complimentary towels and toilet paper, as well as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, and hairdryer. KITCHEN: The fully-equipped kitchen is complete with full-size fridge and freezer, cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. Crockery, cutlery, cooking implements, and basic ingredients are provided for your convenience. We stock a simple selection of food for breakfast such as muesli, milk, coffee and tea. Guests will need to purchase food items for longer stays. Note on the stovetop: Stove top - hob switch to left side of the cooktop (attached on the wall). This needs to be turned on to operate. LIVING AREA This apartment is great for entertaining and relaxing. The main room has a comfortable sofa and TV and looks out onto a spacious private courtyard. The dining area also has a study nook for you to work from. PRIVATE GARDEN COURTYARD If the weather is nice, enjoy a cool drink or breakfast, lunch or dinner in our private courtyard. LAUNDRY: A European-style laundry complete with washing machine, dryer, and ironing facilities is next to the bathroom. You'll also find laundry detergent for your convenience. CAR PARKING Guests will have access to two-allocated tandem car spaces in the secure underground carpark. There is also visitor and motorcycle parking as well as unpaid and paid street parking (time restricted). COMMON AREA: Due to the pandemic, common areas may be closed without prior notice. Please refer to the updated guidelines and announcements in the premises at the time of your arrival. There is a key-safe for self check-in. Only 1 guest key set is provided. Please take care not to lose the keys as their replacement will incur a fee. I am available mostly through Airbnb messaging but I give privacy to my guests. If there is an urgent issue, you can always call me. I have been living in Canberra for quite some time now and can help you navigate your way around the local area if you need. I can also provide you with any tips on the best places to go for food or just to have fun! Across the road from the apartment, you'll find beautiful Lake Tuggeranong with a walking and bike path, Town Park, swimming pool and all the amenities you need. You're right next door to South Point Shopping Mall where you'll find Woolworths and Coles for groceries, Limelight Cinemas and a variety of stores to meet your needs. A short stroll to Tuggeranong's restaurant and cafe precinct on Anketell Street. We recommend you check out Little Istanbul - it's one of our favourite restaurants! We're right next door to the Tuggeranong Bus Interchange. Services from Tuggeranong provide direct services to the City, Woden, Barton, Belconnen and Erindale, as well as major tertiary institutions including the Australian National University, University of Canberra and Canberra Institute of Technology campuses. Set up for business travellers, our apartment is conveniently located close to Government offices and South Point shopping centre. Next to the bus interchange and South Point Mall, major retail stores, supermarkets and a cinema are on your doorstep. The Department of Human Services, Services Australia and the Department of Social Services are a short stroll away. Any violation of our no-party rule will result in a $2000 non-negotiable penalty, in addition to any damages.
