Our cosy Swiss chalet is situated in Flumserberg Bergheim - a quiet residential area, the closest ski lift is 5min by car or accessible by public transport. The apartment is accessible down a flight of stairs with a separate entrance and private garden/patio. The 1 bedroom apartment with a sofabed in the lounge is suitable for 2 adults & 2 young children or 3 adults. There are spectacular views of the Alps (Churfirsten) from all windows. Newly renovated & fully equipped. The living area has a sofabed, a comfortable armchair and footstool. The 4-seater dining table can also be used as a workspace. The kitchen has all the regular appliances aswell as a Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher. The bedroom has a large king sized bed, 2 wardrobes and a chest of drawers. The bathroom consists of a shower, basin unit and toilet. Outside there is a table and benches for dinning, comfortable patio furniture, a lounger, a hammock, a grill and a firepit with seating. There is also a ski rack and sleds that may be used by guests. There is an on site free parking space. There is a sunny and private terrace and garden to enjoy, with an outdoor grill facility. The region is well know for many tourist attractions including the Flumserberg Resort which has skiing and other winter sports in winter and summer toboggan, hiking and mountain bike trails in summer. The beautiful turquoise Walensee Lake is a 15min drive away or also accessible by public transport. The well known Tamina Therma Spa in Bad Ragaz is also in the area. The town of Flums has 3 grocery stores and in Mels there are 2 large shopping centres. There are also great restaurants in the area, the details of which and our recommendations you will find in the apartment. The Flumserberg Bergheim Alte Post bus stop is a 5min walk. There is a bus to and from the Flums train station every hour. The bus also takes you up to the lifts of the Flumserberg Resort, which has winter and summer time activities.
