Plenty of room to wander around the 165 acre cattle property, checking out the new calves and wildlife around the gently sloping paddocks. Cool off with a swim in the property dams or billabong. Enjoy BBQ meals - wood or gas. Top up the dinner supplies from the organic vege garden. Guests have their own privacy in the cottage which is situated near the house and hosts are available to assist guests as needed. Paddle your canoe or kayak on Wivenhoe or Somerset Dams, walk or cycle the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, visit historic Brisbane Valley towns and their weekend markets and Somerest region wineries. There is no public transport access to this property and there are only very limited once a day bus services (to/from Ipswich/Esk). Guests will need their own vehicle. Hosts are happy to pick up or drop off guests in Esk on request e.g. if using the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. There is no phone or wi-fi supplied for the cottage - BYO only! 3G & 4G are received all over the property.
