La Grange du Moulin (the mill's barn) is located in a valley by a river and surrounded by woods. There is 10 ha of land in the property with wonderful walks around. There is something special to our place, the peace, the songs of the birds in the air This is a 16th century house that has been beautifully renovated and modernized. The space is located in a beautiful and quite magical environment - surrounded by nature and wildlife. It is very peaceful. The location is a perfect base for day trips around the Loire Valley There is a river and pond around the house. Please be aware if you come with children. Owners are not responsible if any accident happen. Thank you Les hotes ont accès a leur petite maison et a une terrasse au bord de l'eau. Faites attention s'il y a des enfants; les pieces d'eau ne sont pas securisees. Il est possible aussi de se promener sur la propriété de 10 ha (en respectant certaines règles et selon les proprietaires) Les hotes ont acces a la piscine couverte selon des horaires speciaux: generalement de 9h a 12h et de 14h30 a 17h30 a re-preciser avec les proprietaires). Il est obligatoire d'enlever ses chaussures dans la piece de la piscine, de nager les cheveux attaches et de toujours refermer la porte d'entree. Les enfants doivent toujours etre accompagnes d'un adulte. Les propritaires ne sont pas responsables en cas d'accident. Il y a deux blancoires; une pour bebe et une autre pour plus grand. Owners will be present during the stay (living / working in main house and falcon farm). We are available to give suggestions on places to go and things to see. We are located 3 mins away by car from the little village called Montresor (labeled as one of the most beautiful villages in France). We just love the little cafe/pub there and the village life. The village has a bakery, pharmacy, tobacco/newspaper shop and grocery store. Our house is located right in the heart of a forest. It is great for long walks around or biking. There is a big lake 2 kms away, where you can swim, rent a kayak and sunbath. Dining options are within a 10 minute drive There is no public transport near the house. The closest train/bus station is in Loches (20kms away) You can walk to the village - no problem - it's about 15 mins walk. You can also bike around the few little villages. There are 3 bedrooms. 2 with queen beds and 1 with bunk beds (sleep 6). There is a private kitchen, 1 full bath/toilet/sink and 1 toilet (on the lower level). The Living room has big door/windows that opens to the back little terrace. The living is nicely furnished with a couch, 2 armchairs, a wood stove, a desk, etc...
