Come and spend time with me and my Hmong family at my newly renovated Homestay, with stunning views of the mountains & rice terraces in Ta Van village, Sapa. I'm happy to offer cultural trekking, cooking classes & indigo batik workshop for guests upon request. This listing INCLUDES a bed that can accommodate 1 adult comfortably in a shared dorm room (with 3 shared bathrooms), breakfast and dinner (home-cooked family style). We also have private rooms and private bungalows. I'm a Hmong mother of 4 children and I've lived in Ta Van my entire life. I started working as a guide running treks in the mountains and rice terraces since I was a teenager. I love my family and my community, and I have been working hard to make a better life for all of us. Our family upgraded our home in 2017 and now together we run Indigo Snail Boutique Hmong Homestay. The new space has bamboo pipe lights made by my husband and the beddings were sewn by me, my mom and my best friend using vintage Hmong fabrics. I am very happy to welcome you to our Indigo Snail home - this is a truly authentic stay with a local Hmong family and we would love to share with you about our culture. Guests can access any space in the homestay. Available on site 24/7 Ta Van is a peaceful village nestled within the beautiful Muong Hoa valley, away from the now bustling Sapa Town. There are many beautiful treks in the area. You can take a 30-min walk in the neighborhood of Ta Van Hmong Village or a leisurely 3 or 6-hour trek through the rice terraces, bamboo forests, waterfalls and neighbor villages. Trek, motorbike or taxi My home is just above Ta Van Hmong Village with incredible views of mountains and rice terraces. It is accessible from Sapa town via trek (2-3 hours along the main road, or 4-5 hours for a scenic route), or motorbike/taxi (40 - 50minutes). We can help you to organize transport to/from my home, Hanoi, Noi Bai Airport, Halong Bay, Sapa, Lao Cai Train Station. We’re also happy to offer you various activities like trekking, visiting local markets and nearby villages, or doing traditional crafts. Breakfast and dinner are included in your stay - we share home-cooked family style meals with other guests. Bottled water, soft drinks and beer are provided at extra charges.
