Other places of interest include Lytham and St. Annes. The Lakes less than an hour away. The location of Moorend Cottages is fairly rural but civilisation is not far away should you require bars restaurants. Poulton-le-Fylde has a multitude of restaurants something for everyone and is only 4 miles away. The 2C bus will take you there and there is also a train station in Poulton should wish to venture further. There is a bus stop just outside Moorend Cottages for the 2C bus which takes you to Blackpool or Knott End. Service is every half hour. Limited service on Sundays
