Little Cottage amidst Nature

Are you ready for a holiday amidst nature? An old mountain cottage in the middle of nature, in the lush Minho region of Portugal! You will find yourself in a small piece of paradise, with great views and close to a small village.The house has great views. Discover the nearest charming village with all the cafe's/bars, supermarkets, nice little shops, markets and good restaurants. And of course there is more to see and to do! It is a cottage that is equipped with everything you need. However, if you miss anything we will try to arrange it for you. To give the holiday a little touch of luxury, we offer a Tabua Regional for 17,50 per board. The board will consist of several regional cheeses, Presunto, homemade chorizo, various tapas and a delicious regional wine. TIP: Order this by the pool under the setting sun! The Tabua can also be ordered with Sangria and also non-alcoholic; such as with a homemade fresh lime, ginger drink. We can also offer a delicious and generous 'out of the ordinary' breakfast for 8,50 extra. Make sure you don't miss it! We are near big cities such as: Braga (15min by car), Quimaraes (30min), Viano do Castelo with its beaches (40min), Ponte de Lima, Ponte de Barca etc. Also close is the National Park Peneda- Geres with its lakes, wildlife, waterfalls, hiking routes and many more to see. If you want to go to the coast it takes you aprox. 45 minutes. There is also Esposende, Apulia and many more beaches waiting for you to sup, surf, relax and enjoy the sun and sea. Porto is 1hour by car and worth a visit. You have a acces to the garden and to the amazing swimming pool. We are at your disposal to ensure you experiencing the live in Portugal. Do not hesitate to ask us for some information concerning nice spots in the area. To make your holiday a real experience we can serve a Tabua Regional (Regional Platter) with all kinds of products from the Minho Region. The Tabua Regional (17,50) will be served with a delicious regional wine. Or if desired a Sangria (also non-alcoholic) or a homemade fresh Lime, ginger drink. And do not mis out on the generous and out of the ordinary breakfast for an additional 8,50. Take the time to relax and meet the Portugees in a Taberne nearby. Public transport is available. Parking place in front of the house We have three dogs (Boefie, Balou and Meisie) who run free on the premises. They are sometimes curious and come to sniff at your kitchen window. The youngest dog (Boefie) is a rascal, his mother (Meisie) is very shy and Balou is a big cuddly dog.
