Amroth is situated at the start/end of the famous Pembrokeshire coastal path on the seafront. We are close to Pubs/restaurants, café, public transport, & quiet nightlife. We are a short distance from Saundersfoot & Tenby, & Pendine & Laugharne You’ll love the views, location, cosiness & people. It's ideal for mature couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, & pets. With free fibre optic broadband & Wi Fi . Price based on 1 en-suite bedroom , 1 dbl & 1 sgl bed for guests. no breakfast The House is accessed via front gate, through front door into porch, If I am not at home, there is a key code box on the wall. Enter the code, open the door, & replace key into box remembering to close box & mix up numbers so that the house is secure. Please also ensure the porch door is closed. Go up the stairs and turn to the front of the house, your room Gower view will be on the right , keys to open the bedroom door & porch door, are inside bedroom. (Caldey view on left). We have spectacular views from the house, facing South straight out overlooking the sea. The house is built into the cliff, on the seafront, across the road there are steps down to the beach. It is a old house so not modern or posh. It is a home not a hotel. To the East is Pendine, round to Pembray , round to the Gower coast. On a good day you can see the English coast of Somerset. To the West is, Wisemans Bridge, Saundersfoot, Tenby & Caldy Island. Folly Farm, Oakwood, Manor Park Zoo, Heatherton, etc, are all a short drive away. Guests have access to bedrooms that all overlook the ocean and bay. There is also a large back garden which overlooks the house as we are built into the cliff, from which you can view the whole bay. Please note garden is accessed by steps, so is only for fit people not suitable for the infirm, at your own risk. Also available at your leisure is free complementary WiFi, coffee and teas, television with freeview, books etc. Should you have any specific needs not already mentioned then please ask and we will do what we can to accommodate you. We ask for a voluntary donation for your pets stay of approx £5. which you can donate on arrival. We will donate to a local dog rescue site/ guide dogs for the blind. The house is run by Myself - Ruth. The house was built approx 1890, so is not a modern new build. I will be around most of the time, I am local so I know a lot about the area in which I live. I share my house with 2 dogs & 2 cats. I am animal lover, so pets are welcome provided they are supervised at all times. (Please bring their own beds/towels ) Amroth is a quiet neighbourhood, and we are very fortunate to have a very low crime rate. It is considered a very safe place to live, the beach has a "Blue Flag" for cleanliness, and is safe for swimming, kayaking, etc. It has a life guard during the summer months. A pebbled beach with lots of sand area when the tide is out. Restrictions in summertime for dogs, the middle of the beach is dog free, but either end to east or west is dog friendly. Bus stop just 20 yards outside the house, on other side of road opposite Amroth Arms P.H. (no busses on Sundays ) Taxi's available. A train station is in Kilgetty village approximately 2 miles away. Cash machine in the Temple Bar P.H/restaurant. National Trust Car Park 40 yards from the house to the right of Amroth Arms PH, then left into car park. To the East of the house, there is a long seafront with parking area on side of the road, ending at The New Inn PH & car park. The village has 4 Public houses/restaurants, 1 cafe/shop, and 1 grocery/gift shop. The stunning Colby Lodge Gardens of National Trust land, is within walking distance and very much worth a visit. The Pembrokeshire coast path starts/ends in Amroth. Optional - consider bringing wellington boots for the beach and nature walks. Please be aware in winter the Amroth shops close, and the weather can be wild. The bus stop is outside the Amroth Arms PH, across the road, there is a bus shelter. The tide comes in twice a day, when the moon is full the tide is high, so please be careful.
