Situated on the heights of the village of Mayres, which is criss-crossed by the Ardèche and La Borne rivers, this charming three bedroom holiday home is nestled within over 7000m² of land, which is speckled with chestnuts, wild flowers, roses and irises. It benefits from plenty of peace and privacy, as well as lovely views of the Ardèche Mountains. The interior is cosy and comfortable, with an open-plan kitchen and living area, three bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside is a pretty terrace area, complete with private swimming pool and barbecue facilities. You will be fantastically located in the Regional Park of the Ardèche Mountains, which is situated in the stunning region of the Seven Lakes. Here you can discover the region's beautiful landscapes and the array of activities on offer including hiking, cycling and climbing. Highly recommended is a visit to the Tanargue, which offers spectacular views from its viewpoint at 1,371 metres. At the ski resort of La Croix de Bauzon, which is situated 28km away, you can try your hand at climbing, paragliding, canyoning, hiking, tennis, mountain biking and horse-riding during the summer months. For guests wishing to relax, there are two spa centres close by. The historical town of Aubenas (26km away), is also worth a visit, with its ramparts, local markets and summer events.
