The kitchen, a dining room and a cosy living room area with TV you'll share with other guests, international guests from all over the world. We offer FREE WiFi and housekeeping (every 2nd day)! New modern - family owned - well designed and furnished house for a pleasant stay, with everything you need to feel like home in a quiet area of Zanzibar Town. On top of this four-storey house you'll find a big rooftop terrace where you can enjoy the sun and the sunset or just chill out after discovering Stone Town and surrounding. You don’t need a car, you can walk! Everything is reachable in a few walking minutes. Just 5 minutes to the Former Slave Market and max 15 minutes far away from all other places such as tourist attractions, restaurants and night life in Town. 10 minutes to Darajani Market where you get fresh fruits, vegetables, fish and of course Zanzibar spices and much more... Around the house are many small shops where to buy everything else if you like to prepare your own meals. Local transport possibilities are nearby. To Zanzibar airport it's about 15 minutes, to the ferry port only 5 - 10 minutes by car. Transfer from and to the airport ($11) and the ferry port ($5) we'll arrange for you, just tell us your arrival details. The landlady is an excellent cook! Don’t miss her delicious breakfast ($4) and her tastefully Swahili Cuisine for lunch ($5) and/or dinner ($5) on request. Please note: Electricity in Zanzibar is very expensive! There will be an additional charge of $5/night or $90/month for the AC, but only when using it. You will have the possibility to use our washing machine (please bring your own detergent) for a small fee or you can use the laundry service that will be done by our cleaning staff for a little money.
