Chalet Oberdorf - the perfect Murren location

An modern apartment, built in 2007 in traditional style to a very high standard, it has two double bedrooms and one bunk room (bunk bed & single), two bathrooms and a large open-plan kitchen/living/dining room with a huge leather sofa; cowhide stools and dining table (seats 8). Excellently located, it is genuinely ski-in/ski-out during the winter and next to the ski school. Picture windows open onto large wrap-around balcony with panoramic views of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau. The apartment is managed by Top Apartments, a rental agent in the village. They will arrange for you to get access to the apartment and should be available in emergencies. However, the local style is more functional than US-style customer service. I.e. you should expect to be provided with the key rather than be given a full orientation of the apartment. The apartment is about 400 metres from the Murren train station. There are no cars allowed in the village as it is only accessible by cable car. There is a large covered car park in Lauterbrunnen, almost opposite the cable car station. Please note that, unfortunately, guests are not able to use the laundry room in the building. There is a laundromat next to the Hotel Bellevue, approximately 180 metres from the chalet.
