Castle View is a flat on the third and top floor of a building in the centre of La Roche-en-Ardenne. This old attic was completely refurbished in 2020. During the renovation of the roof, we discovered the potential of this old attic. We therefore decided to invest heavily in it by creating a terrace and a loggia that offer a rare and unobstructed view of the Château de La Roche-en-Ardenne. Inside the flat, we have provided all the modern comforts with a fully equipped kitchen, a smart TV with VOO decoder and a Netflix account. A large and comfortable living room. The bathroom has a beautiful marble shower and a musical radiator that can be connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth. The room is located in a setting where we have preserved the authenticity of the wooden beams that lead to a romantic universe. The butterfly mural was completely handmade by the talents of a friend of mine. Just a stone's throw from the pedestrian area, you can leave your car in the car park and enjoy your walking holiday to the full. The historic centre of La Roche-en-Ardenne is full of attractions. You can visit the ruins of the Feudal castle, the museum of the Battle of the Bulge, the La Roche sandstone. If you are more of a nature lover, you can only marvel at the natural surroundings of La Roche-en-Ardenne. Let yourself be lulled by the sound of the river, by kayak or on foot. Children will love the game park or the tour of the town on the little train. In the evening, during the summer, you can sit on the quays of the Ourthe to enjoy the free sound and light show of Berthe's Ghost, a legend of the castle. If you are more experienced walkers, don't miss the 13km walk around the Nisramont dam, make the trip to the Chlorophylle Park and discover the magic of the hamlet of Borzée. The flat is ideally located in the heart of the historic centre and within walking distance of all restaurants and activities. As this accommodation is rented by a professional management company, you will be asked to complete an online check-in and pay the resort tax after your reservation. You will receive the access codes once the registration is completed and the taxes are paid.
