Luxury beach house with balcony, pool & sea views
Beautiful VisitWales 5* Innisfree House next to unspoilt beach with outdoor heated pool (open Whit - early Sep). 3 bedrooms (sleeps 7 + cot), living room with 32' balcony, kitchen diner, utility with w/machine, bathroom, ensuite wet room, games room, off street parking, gas central heating, free Wifi. 2 smart TVs, 2 blu-ray players, Wii, bluetooth speaker, games, toys, DVDs. Hairdryers, linen, towels (but not beach towels). No smoking. 7 nights only during school hols (ex. Xmas) NO PETS Innisfree House entrance is on the ground floor, with stairs rising to the living room / dining room / kitchen / utility / study on the 1st floor (there is also a WC on this floor). All rooms have sea views apart from two which have garden / pool views. A second staircase brings you to the 3 bedrooms: kingsize master bedroom with ensuite wet room (& an extra single bed), family bathroom with shower cubicle, separate WC, Bedroom 2 has 2 x 3' single beds, Bedroom 3 can be either a twin room (2 x 3' beds) or a super-king, 6' wide bed (on request). One highchair and travel cot with bassinet are available on request. The house is particularly spacious and light in a prime spot directly overlooking the beach. The road is quiet. There's a tea shop about 5 doors down, a seasonal fish and chip shop across the beach car park (locals regularly drive several miles for their delicious offerings). The heated outdoor pool (no lifeguard) is shared between a handful of holiday rental properties and is open from Whitsun until the end of the first week in September each year. The pool is open from the first Saturday of Whit week until 2nd Saturday of September each year, 9am - 7.30pm. The gardens are for everyone's quiet enjoyment. There is a an outdoor rotary washing line and secluded waste bin area. BBQs only allowed on the beach, not in the garden. We live in Cheshire but have locals on hand to assist with any practical difficulties should guests require any assistance during their stay. We are always contactable by mobile and there is a key safe fitted at the property (with a local key holder in case of emergency). Guests can contact us at any time by phone with queries. Electric car charge point available on beach car park opposite a few metres away. There is a very useful village shop / deli / cafe just a few minutes walk up the hill, and on Friday and Saturdays they are open for dinner as a licensed restaurant. Two good pubs: The Inn at the Sticks and The Castle (next door to each other) are even closer. The coastal path can be accessed about 100m away. Carmarthen has a multi-screen cinema and many good shops (Debenhams, M&S, Next) and an indoor swimming pool for wet weather days. The National Botanic Gardens of Wales are stunning and only about 25 minutes drive (16 miles). There are many activities on offer in the area for kids of all ages, too numerous to mention. The Castle in Llansteffan is completely free of charge to enter and has stunning views. Dylan Thomas's Boathouse in Laugharne is about 20 minutes' drive. Tenby is approx 45 mins drive; Pendine Sands approx 30 mins drive. There is a local bus service to Carmarthen which takes about 20 minutes, around 5 times a day. Trains from Carmarthen connect in to London and further afield. There is a direct train from Crewe to Carmarthen which is approx 7 miles away. Swansea is about 28 miles away. Tenby is 25 miles away and takes about 45 minutes to drive. PLEASE NOTE THIS PROPERTY CANNOT ACCEPT ANY PETS.
