It's open plan layout allows for intimate moments with family and friends whilst also boasting the privilege of enjoying your own down time in one of the five cosy and comfortable bedrooms. Please note that from the 13th September 2022, it will not be possible to book the barns individually. Goodlake Barns will only be bookable as a full site. The Barn is a large and modern self catering holiday cottage, offering spacious luxury accommodation for 10 guests in 5 comfortable bedrooms. The large living area with chess table opens out onto the lawn and the well stocked kitchen makes catering a breeze. One of five beautifully converted Goodlake Barns which all surround the central courtyard, The Barn can be booked with the other Goodlake Barns to offer flexibility to groups of family and friends. There is plenty to explore nearby including the beautiful Cotswolds which is right on the doorstep! There is a central hub which is a flexible space and can be hired for dinner or meetings depending on your groups needs. The hub is big enough to seat everyone together if booking more than one barn. Please note that the hub is only available on request. If you are looking for a large group booking for more than 10 guests, please consider the entire Goodlake Barns complex. Accommodation Summary Sleeps 10 people in 5 large bedrooms, some of which have en-suite bathrooms. Ground Floor Spacious and welcoming living room with fireplace, sofas and TV plus chess table. Doors open out on the lawn and courtyard, and really fill the space with light. Modern kitchen equipped with gas hob and oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. The large dining table can sit 10 comfortably. Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with en-suite shower room and kitchenette in the annexe with separate access (was originally a separate annexe) Bedroom 2: Small twin bedroom off the living area First Floor Bedroom 3: Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom Bedroom 4: Double bedroom with en-suite shower room Family bathroom Bedroom 5: Twin bedroom Outside Huge enclosed communal courtyard with seating plus large lawn to the rear of the barn. The lawn is also a communal area. Private parking is available. Goodlake Barns is the perfect base from which to explore the North Wessex Downs and the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Access to each property is via a key safe. The key safes are located in the reception room on the left hand side as you enter the courtyard. Goodlake Barns is situated in the picturesque Oxfordshire village, located in the Vale of the White House with magnificent views across the Vale to the Uffington White Horse and the Berkshire Downs. You can find a range of amenities including supermarkets, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants and a select few shops, just 3 miles away in Faringdon. The Barns are just a 30 minute drive from Oxford and is excellently located to explore everything which the Cotswolds have to offer. There is a fantastic authentic English country pub located 2 miles down the road in the village of Fernham called the Woodman arms, they use freshly-prepared, seasonal ingredients to create wholesome, hearty and delicious meals to delight the senses!
