Nestled within the Stoney Creek National Park, this large family home provides a picture-perfect rainforest retreat. It encapsulates tropical living at its finest, with ample indoor and outdoor living space, alfresco entertaining with a BBQ and a glistening resort-style swimming pool. It can comfortably sleep 10 people making it perfect for groups or family getaways. Wake up feeling as though you're a world away, while in reality you are just 15 minutes' drive from the Cairns city centre. Designed around indoor and outdoor living, this beautiful family home creates an idyllic escape, yet with the convenience of being just a short drive to all that Tropical North Queensland has to offer. It offers grand proportions with spacious, airy interiors and stylish furniture throughout. A wrap around balcony allows for fresh breezes and natural sunlight to stream through. The home is equipped with air-conditioning throughout to create a comfortable, year-round retreat. The open plan living and dining area includes an oversized modular sofa, flat-screen TV with Netflix and free Wi-Fi. There is a large dining table along with additional seating on the balcony and beside the pool. The gorgeous country-style kitchen is fitted with high-end appliances to create a family meal at home. It includes a fridge, oven, stove, Nespresso coffee machine, rice cooker and microwave. There is a BBQ on the balcony and cooking staples in the pantry. There are four bedrooms within the property, comfortably sleeping 10 guests. the master bedroom has a premium king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom with a luxurious bathtub. The Second bedroom has a queen bed, while the third bedroom has a triple bunk bed and extra trundle bed, ideal for those travelling with children. There is a granny flat downstairs with an ensuite bathroom, TV and tea and coffee facilities. An additional sofa bed next to the granny flat can sleep one guest. There is a powder room upstairs and an internal laundry including a washing machine, dryer and iron, ideal for longer stays. The house has a double garage and space on the driveway to park extra cars, a boat or a caravan. During your stay, you and your group will have the entire space to yourself. Please make yourself at home! I or one of my cohosts will meet you on arrival to give you the keys and show you around. Once you're settled in we will leave you to enjoy your stay. We live locally and are only a phone call away if you need us. Kamerunga is a peaceful residential neighbourhood, 15 minutes' drive from Cairns city centre. This is an excellent base for exploring the Great Barrier Reef, mountain village of Kuranda, Port Douglas and the Wet Topics World Heritage Area. In Cairns town there’s excellent cafes and dining, markets and beautiful beaches nearby making it a year-round travel destination. Plus, it’s easy to get to famous sites like Cape Tribulation and the Daintree. Enjoy breakfast at Caffiend or The Chambers, lunch at Greenfields and dinner at Salt House with its beautiful waterfront views. Don’t miss Cairns institution Rusty’s Markets (Friday-Sunday) to sample the region’s exotic fresh fruit, vegetables, breads, dairy and seafood from more than 180 stalls. The market also has a host of international food stalls, specialty products, clothing and gifts.
