The Country House Casale Catino of 120 sqm is for your exclusive use and set in a panoramic and silent position with stunning views in a spectacular setting in the heart of the Sabine hills, amidst a rolling landscape and olive groves, in the north-eastern part of Lazio just 60km from Rome This charming and rustic property is surrounded by a spacious garden (300 sqm) offers all comforts for an intimate and peaceful stay in midst of nature: there is a private swimming pool (8 x 4m, depth 1,40m, open approx. 30.5.-30.9.) with cold shower, ideal for children, a barbecue, a outdoor oven, a huge brick pergola for outside eating adjacent to the fully equipped country style kitchen as well as a huge terrace equipped with garden furniture and a hammock where you can relax and watch the stunning sunsets. The garden is all fenced in, perfectly safe for little children and little dogs. The typical rooms are huge and charming, offering antique furniture, original terracotta pavements, the living area on the ground level offers plenty of sofa seating, a camin and a dining table. First floor: 1 spacy double bedroom, 1 spacy bedroom with a double bed and a single or double sofabed, 1 bathroom with shower, WC, bidet; passageway room to the loft mezzanine with a single bed and divided by a curtain, loft room with 2 single beds or combined as 1 double bed and air conditioning (children love it). The first floor is safe for little children, there is a fence near the stairs. Ground floor: Living - Dining room with access to the garden, connected to the kitchen with direct access to the pergola detached from the house, sofas, 1 small bathroom with WC, washbasin, emergency shower. The house, the property and the pool are for exclusive use of our guests! Guests are allowed to collect in season the garden's abundant produce, fruits and vegetables. Gardening service is included and cleaning of the pool is provided minimum twice a week. In case of problems our English speaking keyholder is available for your needs. Guests Privacy is guaranteed 100%, the property is far away from the next property and for exclusive use of guests. Our housekeeper that looks after the pool and the garden lives in the area and is available in case of emergency. Private parking fenced in at the house. We are in the north-eastern part of Lazio just 65km from Rome. In the typical villages of Poggio Catino (3 km) and Poggio Mirteto (4 km) you find restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets. Sabina is a unique place to recharge and immerse yourself in nature! This territory is famous for its production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and still authentic and untouched by mass tourism. The area is rich in sites of historic beauty with churches and abbeys to visit, such as the important Farfa Abbey, the old ruins of church S. Agostino are next to the property, Roman villas, medieval castles. There are excellent rural restaurants and shops with local specialties, hiking trails as well as the Natural Park along the Tiber river for bird watching, boat excursions, running, biking, Nordic walking and horse riding. Rome can be visited by train in a Day. In summer you can join International music and jazz festivals. Private parking fenced in. Please note: in 2022 we charge an extra cost of 50 euro per week for general consumptions (cash at arrival). Final cleaning (except kitchen and oven): 150 euro (cash at arrival).
