Ideal studio apartment for up to two people to have a relaxing getaway. The open plan layout incorporates lounge area, kitchen area with breakfast bar or workspace area with stools, bathroom with shower and heated towel rail. For your convenience there is a washing machine, fridge, oven/hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, wardrobe, iron, tabletop ironing board, folding clothing airer, instant electric heating. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread and a selection of breakfast cereals and condiments are provided as a welcome pack. Ample tableware, glasses, cutlery, cooking equipment are also available for use. Entry to the property is via a secure lockbox to which guests are given the code prior to arrival. However I am always available by telephone, messenger or email should guests have any questions. I am happy to provide any information regarding the local area if required. A very quiet cul-de-sac location at the south of Glenrothes backing onto a woodland area where squirrels are seen daily and deer sightings are frequent. We are around a 35 minute drive from both Edinburgh airport and St Andrews (the home of golf.). We are also only 30 minutes from Scotland’s premier racing circuit at Knockhill. There is a main bus route just a few minutes walk away which can take you to the town centre where the Kingdom shopping centre and several supermarkets are located, also several bus routes to various local towns. Thornton train station is just a 20 minute walk away which has links to various stations including Dundee and 3 trains per hour to Edinburgh city centre. There is also a park and ride facility located at Halbeath interchange in Dunfermline and Ferrytoll in Inverkeithing for bus link routes all over the country. There are many woodland walks around the property and around the local river Lochty. There is a popular lovely local restaurant just a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk away which serves a variety of food, wines and beers, and has live entertainment most weekends. I highly recommend their hot rock steaks and their cocktail menu is excellent!
