Serene Self-contained Cottage

Serene Cottage is a stand alone self contained two bedroom cabin on a battle axe block with views of parkland to the rear. It's been three years since I've been hiring this Self Contained Cabin style cottage through Airbnb to make the most of the space available on my block. It is nestled among trees on one side of the main property, with views of the garden and the parkland at the rear. Guests have complete privacy and private access. Gas, hot water and split AC is provided. Bathroom has a shower wash basin and toilet. There is a washing machine and of course the kitchen is fully equipped. The two bedrooms both have queen beds, and ample storage space. The living area has a sofa-bed should you need it. The dining table can double up as a study area with a smart TV for your entertainment. Guests are welcome to use the smart TV with Netflix, WiFi, Washing machine, Microwave, Oven-Cooktop, Mini-fridge and the BBQ situated outside. There is room to park two cars on the block itself. The accomodation is completely independent and self sufficient for your convenience. It has a Shower no bath tub. Please close window when ever using Air Conditioning. I reside immediately alongside the cabin, and am available to help you out when I'm home. That said, I value your privacy and the access is completely private. We are close to the Chisolm Vikings Club/Shops and it's an 8 minute drive to the Tuggeranong Town Centre. The house is immediately next to the Caroline Chisolm Children's Park. Commuting to Canberra city centre takes about 20 minutes. You will have room to park two cars but otherwise there is public transport available with a bus stop on the main road. Buses ply every hour to the city via Tuggeranong. The parkland at the back has a jogging track that you can access through a picket gate at the back. Great for walks. I share my home with my 9 year old German Shephard who stays in his own fenced off back yard and is most friendly but at times barks at night, but this is monitored by me, keeping your comfort in mind.
