The mas Le Moulin Neuf, attested in 1317, is an old property of the Bishops of Vaison-la-Romaine. An ancient stone cross on the roof recalls its historical past. On the edge of the village of Valréas, isolated in the middle of vineyards, this stone farmhouse guarantees you absolute calm and a splendid view of the mountains to the east (La Lance, 1400 m), and the hills to the south. The deep shadow of the park of 1800 m2 will welcome your naps and your children will find swings and slide. Two accommodations will welcome you, the first (Les Cigales, 2 people, 30 m2), a second of 55m2 (Les Oliviers, 4 people) with terraces. Les Lavandes (11 beds + baby beds) The 4-star Lavandes, space totally renovated from 2016 to 2018, offer our holidaymakers a completely organic and ecological renovation and insulation. Among other things, electricity (home automation) is under electrical wiring, so that no electromagnetic waves come to disturb sensitive people, thus ensuring the most repairing rest. The ground floor offers disabled access (PMR) with the necessary equipment, including in the suite, bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet. The Lavender offer 4 very large rooms from 18 to 22 m2. Each room benefits from its bathroom or private bathroom, and independent and private toilets. One of the rooms has a terrace with beautiful views to the east of the pre-Alps. Three bedrooms have exposed beams, some of which have centuries-old woodcutter marks. The kitchen is similarly oriented to the east towards the Massif de la Lance and all the surrounding peaks. Two very large bays in a Provençal style “basket handle” give access to the terrace of the dining room and to that of the living room. Internet access is available in all main rooms via RJ45 special sockets. Wifi is available in some rooms on the ground floor. From the trellis, shaded in summer, where you will take your meals in the open air, you have access on the one hand to a room and its suite (access PMR), and to a dining room with beautiful exposed beams, extended by a vast kitchen equipped with all the comfort and the most recent. From the kitchen or the dining room, you access a spacious living room with Provencal fireplace. From this living room, a stone staircase leads to the 1st floor where opens first to the left, a very large bedroom facing south and west on the vineyard and hills, with its bathroom and toilet. Then a room with its terrace is offered to you facing the mountains and overlooking the vineyards. To your right a corridor leads on one hand to the bathroom and toilet of this room then to the 4th room and its suite. Each room is tastefully furnished in harmony with this charming house in a style that blends ancient and contemporary. Opening onto the garden, a summer lounge completes the pleasure. Les Oliviers, les Cigales and an independent parental suite in les Lavandes (8 beds) Outside the high season, it is possible to rent for 8 people 3 independent spaces, in the same "mas le Moulin Neuf", composed as follows: an accommodation for 4 people (Les Oliviers), ideal for 2 adults and 2 children (see description below), Les Cigales for 2 people (see description below), and an independent parental suite, with private and independent bathroom and toilet. This suite located on the ground floor, overlooking a terrace on one level, with 4 star comfort, and standards for person(s) with reduced mobility, is ideal for seniors and PRM people. Les Oliviers et les Cigales (6 beds) The first, Les Cigales offer a living room with a bedroom part with 2 beds in 90 cm and an excellent quality of mattress, a closet with wardrobe, and a storage cabinet. The other part has a table and 4 chairs, a sofa, small tables and TV. On this living room open on the one hand a small kitchen with sink, hob, oven, refrigerator with freezing part, and all the culinary equipment complete, and on the other hand a bathroom and toilet, washing machine and closet. The apartment Les Cigales opens to the east on the magnificent view of the mountains of the Pre-Alps. Les Oliviers (4 beds) The second unit, Les Oliviers, has two terraces, a small one to the west, and a very large one to the east consisting of a covered terrace with a table and chairs, followed by a sun terrace. These terraces also overlook the vineyards and mountains of the Pré-Alpes to the east. This unit consists of a large bedroom with 2 beds in 90cm with excellent bedding, a chest of drawers, shelves in a bookcase with TV, a closet, a small table and its chair. The room overlooks a small airlock opening on the one hand on the toilet, on the other hand on a bathroom. On the other side the bedroom leads to the fully equipped kitchen, and the kitchen extends to the covered terraces and full sun. The kitchen opens onto a small bedroom with a sofa bed (140 cm) and a very comfortable latex mattress. The bedroom is also furnished with a wardrobe and corner furniture. Both bedrooms also have access to the small terrace from the west. Internet access is available in all main rooms via RJ45 special sockets. The park is distinguished by its deep shade and the wide variety of trees typical of Provence: pine, olive, cypress, magnolias, oleanders... where cicadas sing in summer. In the Provençal tradition a plane tree and a linden tree offer a beneficial shade for naps in the garden or pool. Under the cool shade of the park, children’s games (slide, various swings) will delight the youngest, alternating with their frolicks in the pool. The secure swimming pool of 4x8 m from 0.3 to 1.5 m deep, is decorated with an old fountain dating from the origins of the farmhouse. In summer, the shade of the old linden tree will be appreciated. For sunbathing, the swimming pool has wide beaches well equipped. In the pool, a sunbathing beach welcomes toddlers (up to 30 cm) and their mother. In addition, a covered area overlooking the park is provided for relaxation as living room and 2nd summer dining room. As a safety measure for your children running between pool and swings, you are advised to park the cars outside the property, well parked along the way in front of the gate.
