Keth Hala Garden View Guest House is a small, family-run place. We have 4 rooms overlooking a serene, peaceful garden and rice paddies. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. Our location is a perfect base for visiting the nearby sights. Visit Sigiriya and Dambulla by tuk tuk in the morning and arrive back at the guesthouse with a little time to relax before going on a jeep safari in the late afternoon. Minneriya and Kaudulla National Parks are just 15-30 minutes from our guesthouse and the jeep can pick you up here. These National Parks have the largest concentration of Asian elephants in the Country, making it the best place for Elephant viewing. Polonnaruwa is easily reached by bus. It is just 45 minutes and less than $1 usd. We can help you easily arrange all these activities to maximize your time here. Experience the unique opportunity to help bath domesticated elephants in the river. Or we can arrange a village tour where you get to take a boat ride, learn traditional methods of cooking, and other elements of village life. My place is good for couples and families with children. Breakfast is included and other meals can be arranged with advance notice. We are just a 10 minute walk to Habarana town or 100-150 Ruppees ($1 usd). You will have access to the garden and dining area My family and I live across the street so we are close by if you need anything Habarana is a centrally located and a great base for visiting the ancient cities and sites of Polonnaruwa, Dambulla, Sigiriya, and the lesser visited ruins of Ritigala You can easily catch buses or tuk tuks from Harbarana. Polonnaruwa- 45 min by bus ($1) Sigiriya- 30 min by tuk tuk Dambulla-35 min by tuk tuk **note tuk tuk can be arranged to take you to both Sigiriya and Damulla ,waiting in each location and then bring you back to the guesthouse. We can also arrange a jeep safari for a reasonable price.
