The house is 10-15 minutes from the iconic St Peters pool and the famous blue grotto. Local shops are a few minutes away by foot, including a local bakery, which sells deliciously fresh Maltese bread! A light and spacious property, conveniently located near to the airport and traditional Maltese fishing villages. Decorated in a modern way, yet retaining a Mediterranean feel, the property boasts 3 private roof terraces, the top of which provides a fantastic view over the island. The largest of the 3 bedrooms contains a comfortable double bed (and an additional single if required) and a private balcony. There are 2 twin rooms, in which the beds may be adjoined if necessary. On street parking is available, however, there are also excellent transport links nearby making travelling around Malta extremely easy. Guests have exclusive access to the whole property, excluding the garage. Wifi is available throughout the property and both sitting areas contain TVs with HDMI capabilities. The kitchen includes, kettle, microwave, fridge/freezer, gas hobs and a small electric oven. Outdoor chairs and tables are available for al fresco dining. For those looking to create a bit more atmosphere, the uppermost terrace has a power supply and lighting/portable speakers are available. For those travelling in the hottest months, there are also multiple fans. All power sockets throughout the property are English, therefore if you are travelling from outside the UK an adapter will be required. All of the above amenities are available at no extra cost. In addition, a washing machine can be used for those staying a little longer, however this will incur extra charges. Please advise if you wish to use this facility. The property is located on the south side of the island, close to local fishing towns (15 minutes drive/bus) which boast excellent restaurants and bustling atmospheres. The beautiful beaches of the north coast are approximately 30 minutes drive away. Being a small island, the numerous attractions and activities are all extremely accessible. The village itself is small, safe and friendly, perfect for those looking for a quiet and traditional location. Local shops include a grocery store and butchers and there are multiple supermarkets within a few miles which should more than cater for your needs. There is also a small park round the corner for those travelling with children. The local bus stop is less than 3 minutes walk away, and provides links to numerous towns/beaches as well as Valletta. The airport is also very close by, which obviously provides extensive and regular transport links to most of the island. On street parking is available near the house, however we advise those who have rented a car not to park on corners/too far from the curb as this can incur a ticket. It is possible to walk from the airport to the property (10 minutes) but please be aware there is a busy road to cross (although a crossing is currently under construction). For those with lots of luggage, it is a 5 minute taxi drive. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any extra questions about the house itself or Malta in general.
