13 Haines Street , Hawthorn is a cute Victorian cottage . Originally built in 1894 the house has been extended and renovated but has kept it's charming facade . the house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom available for guests , the house is a close to coffee shops , cafes , clothes shops , supermarkets and cinemas . Tram and Metro to the city , Tennis center and sporting Arenas is a short walk . The house has accommodation for a maximum of four guests . The house has modern amenities (it was renovated and extended recently) the two guest rooms are at the front . Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed and bedroom two has a double . Guests have their own private bathroom and washing machine if needed . The open plan living room and kitchen are quite spacious the kitchen has a gas cooktop and microwave oven . Also a gas BBQ is available for use . Transport : Trams are a 10 min walk and the Glenferrie Railway station is a 15 min walk . Trains to Melbourne CBD are 12+ min. the Trains to the Tennis Center and major Sports Arenas are 12 min to the Richmond Train station then a short walk . Parking : There is free Street parking out front of the property . Hawthorn is an inner city suburb of Melbourne , quiet and leafy with many old period homes that were built in the 1800 s. also home to Swinburne University and several elite private schools .Hawthorns main shopping strip Glennferrie Rd. abounds with coffee shops , restaurants ,supermarkets , clothes shops and a Cinema complex as well other culturally diverse eateries and grocery shops within easy walking distance . Hawthorn is serviced by an excellent transport system , Trains + Trams which are only a few minutes walk away as well as Bus services . Travel to the City of Melbourne and Sporting Stadiums and Tennis centers are only a short Metro ride of 12 or so minutes
