Positioned in Redfern on the beautiful tree lined Bourke Street, this apartment is perfectly located to explore Sydney. The neighbourhood is a walking and bicycle riding friendly village within a tight knit community. The bike path is just downstairs. Cafes and restaurants are a stone throw away. Local favourites like 'Little Evie' and 'St Jude" are within one minute walk to either side of the 'Fern Stay'. You will find plenty of public buses just down the road to take you anywhere in the City. Alternately it is a short stroll to Sydney's Central train station. Local pools such as Prince Alfred Park and treasured parklands like Centennial Park and Moore Park are all within a 2 km radius. Saturday's Farmers Market at the Carriageworks and the Entertainment Quarter are local favourites, as are the many Art Galleries including Brett Whiteley, White Rabbit and many more. Bourke Street Bakery and all of the Crown Street local restaurants and bars are in arms reach. Surry Hills is known for its warm and friendly spirit, monthly market, local amenities, and annual Surry Hills Festival, all of which contribute to the community vibe. Locals appreciate expertly-crafted coffee and gourmet food and will wait patiently in line to be seated at a number of brunch institutions, like celebrity chef Bill Granger’s restaurant " Bill's" on Crown Street and the well known 'The Bourke Street Bakery'.
