Killara Homestead is located in the stunning Scenic Rim and is an escape from the city and the hectic pace of life. The homestead is newly renovated throughout, this property offers the luxury and comfort you expect, with the rustic charm of a working farm. Very close to Beaudesert for convenience, but remote enough to offer the charm and serenity of a country retreat, great views, family-friendly activities. All linen, bedding, towels are provided whilst staying at Killara Homestead. The kitchen is also equipped with tea, coffee & sugar. Firewood is provided during the colder winter months. The Homestead is a two storey 110 year old Queenslander. The Upstairs is three Bedrooms, two bathrooms, Lounge, Dinning and Kitchen. The Downstairs is not being used at present. Although this is a working farm, arrangements can be made to feed the horses or cows. Locally we have the Wyaralong Dam which has some lovely walks, paths for cycles and also horse riding. Tamborine Mountain is also only 30 minutes away which has lovely cafes, Gallery Walk, Vineyards. Scenic Rim Robotic Dairy also is approximately 10 minutes away where you can see the cows being milked and how the milk is bottled. It is a wonderful location to explore the beauty of the Scenic Rim but 6 minutes from all the conveniences you would need. The Homestead is approximately 1.5km from the centre of town, which has various Restaurants, Taverns, the local RSL which provides live music on a Friday evening and a courtesy bus.
