The space is comprised of 3 levels (ground floor is our private space for when we are there). The first floor has a living/dining area and separate kitchen with balcony area. A separate bathroom with a large pellet stove for heating. The bedroom has a king size bed. The top floor has one bedroom with a double bed and ensuite and a common area which contains two single beds. The house is one and a half hours door to door by car from Nice airport, a little longer from Genoa. The house is located in the heart of the village, a two minute walk from bars, local shops and restaurant. Guests can access the cantina area (below the house, accessed through separate door for laundry). The back garden is available to use with a spacious outdoor seating area. If we are there, we occupy the ground floor area and are happy to help guide you to local amenities. We are English speakers. 5 minutes walk to the beautiful local river fed community swimming lake(** update**the lake was badly damaged by a storm in October 2020 and is no longer accessible for swimming) and a scenic 20 km drive to Italian Riviera beaches makes it an ideal holiday retreat. The area is excellent for walking, mountainbiking and rockclimbing (we have an up to date climbing guide book at the house that guests can use). Good internet access in almost all the local bars and cafès. Not suitable for small children and guests with limited mobility (steep stairs and cobbled streets). Parking is in a small parking area 200 metres from the house. Heating is by pellet stove, it makes the space very cosy but the easy instructions must be followed carefully.
