Cotswold Glamping - Shepherds Hut in a Wild Meadow

Luxury glamping in an unspoilt corner of Gloucestershire! Sleep under the stars and connect with nature! Our Shepherd’s hut, was recently built in the traditional style, stands in its own private & unspoilt meadow with luxury glamping facilities, including an ensuite hot shower, and beautiful sunsets. Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra steps to clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces between reservations The furnishings are unique and have been designed and hand printed by textile designer Liz Lippiatt, in her studio in Stroud. There are books about the countryside and poetry to enjoy in peaceful surroundings. The hut is quite self contained with its own shower room and mini kitchen. You also have your own private eco loo. There are shared barbecue facilities and fridge. We are very happy to help with anything you might need during your stay and can recommend some lovely local places to eat and some beautiful walks all around. Your exclusive meadow is totally organic and has been left to nature for the last 12 years - full of pretty grasses and ox eye daisies, as well as the native rabbits, hares and occasional deer! We are about 12 minutes from Kemble station and can recommend the pink taxi company in Tetbury for collection. We do provide barbecue equipment, fridge and crockery in a bush shelter but please feel free to bring extra camping accessories if you are planning to dine under the stars. We can always help if there is anything you might need! We will deliver warmed croissants and fresh fruits to your hut in the morning around 9.00 am. Tea, coffee and basic larder ingredients are provided in the hut. We provide kindling and logs for the fire pit for your first night - there is plenty of kindling lying around to forage in hedges and by ways and you can buy extra logs on site (£5 per bag) or from the local garage or Tesco store in Tetbury or maybe bring some extra logs with you from home. There is a gas burner with a griddle pan for your steaks or veggies as well as a charcoal barbecue ( you can purchase a bag of charcoal on site or from the local Tesco store). Otherwise why not bake some potatoes wrapped in foil in your fire pit and barbecue sausages on a fork over the fire! Fun to be had!!
