Set on the first floor of a detached pool house that sits on a half-acre plot and shares compound with a spacious main house, the Golden Palm Room is the one of three rooms set along an open-air corridor. This means you enjoy the ambience of a spacious villa compound, airy spaces and garden without necessarily feeling like you are sharing space with anyone. The pool and main house are both set at the corners of a spacious half acre plot, giving a refreshing feeling of space with greenery of trees, grass lawn and assorted flowers plants. Whether you love spending time outdoor, experiencing a sense of spaciousness and fresh air or you just want to enjoy Neflix in your room most evenings, perhaps you are more into Super Sports on large outdoor TVs, or you are a fitness fan that never wants to miss their workout, maybe you just want to be pamper and enjoy a relaxing massage, we have it all set out for you! What more, we provide healthy hot breakfast at no additional cost and we prepare dinner at a charge on request on days you don't wish to go out. You don't have to cook on your own holiday! • Free parking within the compound for guests who have cars. • Depending on where you want to go, you can either walk, take a taxi, tuktuk (auto rickshaw taxi) or if adventurous enough a matatu (public minivan) or bodaboda (motorcycle taxi ride). We have dedicated Tuktuk and Taxi drivers whom we are happy to introduce our guests to. • The nearest mini-markets are 5 – 15 minutes walks • Nearest Beach access is 15 mins walk. • Restaurants and shopping malls are within a radius of 300mts – 2kms depending on your interest and taste. This means even if there were other guests in the building, you will enjoy your space and privacy without the feeling of sharing a house. The rooms are set along an open aired corridor of Nyemi Nest, a detached pool house that shares compound with the host's main house. You have the choice to interact with us if you wish or just enjoy your privacy and comfort. We are located within a gated community with good sense of security within Nyali . Nyali has many restaurants that cater for various pockets and needs. Nyali Golf Course is nearby and nearest beach is Nyali Beach which is about 700 meters away. Nyemi Nest guest house provides free parking to our guests. Easiest public transport access to most places within Nyali would be by Uber. Uber to CitiMall and Nyali Center (most popular shopping and entertainment centers) would average $3 per trip. Depending on choice, a number of places are walking distances. We also arrange car hire (self and chauffeur drive) on request. If more adventurous and happy to try, there is cheaper local modes of transport such as tuk- tuks and matatus. There is something for everyone depending on choice and pocket. A guided City Tour where you learn and explore the experiences of historical 16th Century invasion of Mombasa through a half or full day excursion that includes a visit to Majestic Fort Jesus, history rich Old Town, Mwembe Kuku or Akamba Handicraft Changamwe for special carvings and African fabric souvenir purchase, land mark Mombasa’s Elephant Tusks for memory photos and a ride around the city of Mombasa on a tuktuk. Final landing is at Bamburi Beach for some tasty ice cream optional camel rides. 2. A full day excursion to Wasini Island for snorkeling, Island walk, sumptuous seafood lunch and optional scuba diving. Crown of the day is watching dolphins swim on the vast Indian Ocean – a spectacle to behold.
