The Blue Sheep Tirthan

The Blue Sheep Tirthan most importantly is a home to the hosts. Our family spent the last 20 something years living this house and planted the dense orchard in the land. The wood panelled rooms are cozy and have balconies opening up to the greenery of the garden around. We make sure to spend time with the guests who are always welcome to munch on delicious fruits growing in the orchard. We are located near the bus stand of Banjaar at the exact center point between both GHNP and Jalori Pass. Welcome to our home. We are happy to host you in a room which accommodates 2 people. The room also has an attached washroom. Located in Khundan near the bus stop of Banjār, The Blue Sheep Tirthan is nestled amidst a mixed fruit orchard and a beautiful garden at the same time is close to the market and the bus stop. All the buses in the valley start from the bus stop in Banjaar which is at a walking distance from the house. Private parking is available on site. There's a seating and/or dining area in some units. Continental and Indian breakfast options are available every morning at the in house cafe. Homemade meals are available all day at the in house cafe. A terrace is also accessible to the guests. Guest at the property can make use of the lovely garden, eat home cooked food, or just relax and grab something to read in our heated common area. we love to interact with all our guest and answer any questions they might have on the nearby places to visit, local culture and food and general travel advice. do feel free to give us a call before hand to get tips for directions, weather conditions and clothing advice. The north west side of the property is closer to the houses in the neighborhood. It is not tourist area but is a residential location. the other sides of the property is surrounded by fruit orchards and the river is a 10 minutes walk south from the house. Getting here is easy, there are frequent bus services from Delhi and Chandigarh, or you can opt to fly into kullu airport. Once here you can make use of the localbus service or opt to take a taxi from the nearby stand
