(not where livestock -cattle and sheep are kept). Wild swimming lake + 2 lakes for coarse fishing. Owners available at any time for queries, extra logs etc. ok This is a hilly and heavily wooded area, lots of narrow lanes, but within easy distance of shops in Crowborough, Heathfield, Uckfield. Closest pubs Hadlow Down (mainly for drinkers), Buxted Inn, White Hart (Buxted) Blackboys Inn, Buxted Park, The Pig and Butcher (5 ash down). Ashdown Forest 6km (The Foresters, The crow and Gate, The Hatch, The Gallipot. No buses, sorry. Nearest train station Buxted (London Bridge line).
