Alternatively visit the Kyneton Museum where the town's history is proudly celebrated or walk along the Campaspe River and visit the Botanical Gardens. This quaint, comfortable cottage is an hour’s drive from Melbourne or about 75mins by train. Kyneton is not far from Hanging Rock, Woodend, Malmsbury and Maldon; all these towns are steeped in history and offer local produce including food, wine, art and clothing.
