Enjoy the sensation of living in a unique hayloft inside a 14th-century Villa. An ancient structure equipped with all modern facilities. Made entirely of stone, this converted hayloft retains the charm of the typical buildings of the tuscan countryside. This typical stone-built hayloft is located inside the property of Villa Migliorini, an historical Villa of the XIV century, surrounded by fruit trees, gardens and the tuscan hills. The style of this building is unique: stone walls, exposed beams on the ceiling, a gazebo for your breakfast or dinner 'al fresco' and a private and intimate garden. On the ground floor you can find a dining room with a comfortable sofa bed (for 2 people), a fully equipped kitchen and the bathroom with shower. The bedroom is on a large and romantic mezzanine. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave, and three different coffee machines (moka, espresso coffee machine and american coffee). A wooden staircase leads to a charming and intimate loft, where there is a cosy double bedroom. The hayloft is equipped with air conditioning and internet connection. Outside you can find a gazebo in which to enjoy your breakfast or dinner in the shade of the pergola, thanks to a barbecue-ideal for summer barbecues. Guests can also relax in the garden attached to the hayloft, where there is also a laundry area. Villa Migliorini is strategically located, only 9 km away from Florence and very well connected to the other beautiful cities of Tuscany. In less than an hour you can reach Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Vinci, San Gimignano and the Chianti countryside. Our accomodation is only 1,8 km away from two railway stations (Signa and Lastra a Signa) that allow you to reach the center of Florence in ten minutes without worrying about parking. Car recommended to properly and freely enjoy Tuscany and the area. Our hayloft has been featured in season 3 of HGTV show "You live in what?". In our family estate, you have the possibility to have a relaxing walk in olive trees fields, appreciating the colours of the nature and listening to birds songs. You can also have a stunning view on the tuscan hills from a balcony hidden by the bay trees or taking a moment for meditation in our private Chapel. We're at your disposal during your stay for any need. We would be very glad to give our suggestions for wine tours, cooking classes, reservations for Florence museums and day trips to: - Cinque Terre - Pisa and Lucca - Siena and San Gimignano - Chianti area - Montalcino, Pienza and Montepulciano - Arezzo, Anghiari and Cortona Check-in and keys: we will welcome you in person to show you the house and to provide you with the keys. In case of late check-in or if you're not able to tell us your ETA, you will find the keys in a safe place near the house. Lastra a Signa is a calm and peaceful village, strategically located and well connected with the whole region thanks to railway stations and motorways.
