Les Vignes - An independent room open on garden

Le Cœur des Vignes is a guest house of character located in Pauillac, in the heart of the vineyards and close to prestigious wine Châteaus. You will enjoy a pleasant garden with trees overlooking the vineyards and the amazing Château Pichon Baron, a summer swimming pool and a secure car park reserved for guests. Upon reservation, Pascale will prepare a gourmet dinner for you at the Table des Vignes. Our wine list offers a selection of Médoc wines, including some grands crus classés. Our Les Vignes bedroom has a pared-back, natural feel with its Bordeaux stone and colours inspired by the grape harvest. The room has its own entrance from the garden which opens on to a small, comfortable living area. The sleeping area is on a mezzanine and has two single beds that can be converted into a king size bed with memory foam top mattress. The staircase up to this area can seem a little steep and narrow. The sofa bed can sleep another adult or two children. The spacious bathroom has a tiled walk-in shower with a separate toilet. Bath towels and complimentary toiletries are provided, as well as a shaving mirror and hairdryer. WiFi and hot drinks are also available in this room. A flat screen television can be provided on request. We can also provide a baby cot. Pascale worked for 7 years in Pauillac, in the Baron Philippe de Rothschild Company, which allowed her to discover and appreciate the Médoc region. Then she moved to Kourou, French Guiana, where she started cooking by creating her Pause Canopée Table d’Hôtes. On their return to France, Pascale and her husband naturally decided to return in the Medoc area. Alex is now retired and help Pascale in her activity. Thanks to him, the garden is so nice! Pascale and Alex make it a point of honor to warmly welcome their guests and help them feel at home. Pascale offers healthy and gourmet meals cooked with local products and offers a nice wine list with Médoc wines. Some Grands Crus Classés can be served by the glass. It is with great pleasure that Pascale and Alex assist guests in organizing their stay, by booking tastings or renting bicycles. Our guest house is located at one hour from Bordeaux, on the Route des Châteaux, in the heart of the Pauillac vineyards and close to prestigious wine estates. Pauillac and Saint Julien de Beychevelle are 3 minutes away by car and Saint-Estèphe is 15 minutes away. In 30 minutes, you will be on the beaches of the Atlantic Cost and in an hour's drive, you will reach Soulac and Le Verdon along the Gironde Estuary.
