Here you will find many tavernas, restaurants, shops, bars and night clubs where you can party until the early morning hours. Laganas beach is one of the longest sandy beaches in Greece and a nesting place for the endangered Caretta Caretta sea turtle. Do not miss the opportunity to rent a boat and visit the beautiful Marathonisi Island, also known as Turtle Island. The crystal blue waters against the white sand are just magical to swim in. If you’re lucky you might even get a glimpse of the turtles that live in this area. If you are looking for a quiet evening by the sea, you can visit the traditional Keri village (11 kilometers away) and enjoy some fresh fish or Zakynthian delicacies at one of the local tavernas.
