'The Potteridge'-Mt Victoria views & sunsets

Relaxing holiday accommodation for families and friends. The Potteridge is situated at the top of the Blue Mountains World Heritage listed National Park in Mount Victoria NSW. With amazing views into the Kanimbla Valley and out towards Oberon, it provides a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. The acre of yard and gardens provide lots of space for the kids to play and for the adults to enjoy a quiet coffee amongst the flowers. The Potteridge is central to many famous tourist attractions including Jenolan Caves, the Three Sisters, the Scenic Railway, Govetts Leap and the Glow worm caves at Newness. There are many bushwalks in the area including some from the front door. Mt Victoria town centre is a very short stroll away where you will find antique shops, cafes, the local pub and the famous Mt Vic Flicks. Enjoy the spectacular views from the comfort of the lounge and snuggle by the slow combustion woodfire. There is a BBQ provided on the deck and this is the perfect place to sit with a drink and watch the sunset. You may also be fortunate to see the kangaroos roaming the garden at dusk and dawn or the magnificent colourful bird life feeding in the trees. The kitchen is stocked with ample dinnerware and cookware, including muffin & cake tins. A small coffee machine is available for your use, as is a breadmaker. If you like the idea of freshly baked bread, then don’t forget to pack a bread mix packet – or two! The Potteridge has 4 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 8 adults. Bedding Configuration for The Potteridge is: 1 Queen Bed room 1 Double Bed room 1 room with 2 single beds 1 room with bunk beds and a single bed (3 beds in this room) 1 portacot (available on request) The Potteridge provides blankets, doonas (with covers), tea towels and bathmats. You will need to bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels. Electric blankets are also provided. There are plenty of books for your enjoyment as well as a TV with built in DVD player. An ipod docking station with radio and CD player is also available. Sorry we cannot accept pets due to the wildlife that visit our property. Please note, as we live in the Blue Mountains National Park, we do not allow outdoor recreational fires under any circumstances.
