Rodden River cabin on the edge of Frome, Somerset
Rodden Manor dates back to the 16th Century - was once the home of Thomas 'little Jack' Horner of nursery rhyme fame. Built in a secluded haven in the fields outside Frome, the manor has a small stone built, single room building on the edge of the garden, next to the river. There's private parking and access to the surrounding fields, wild swimming and a hot tub ( booked by special request ). Frome is walking distance with its restaurants, cinema and the independent shops of Catherines Hill Situated amongst beautiful mature trees on the edge of the garden and beside the river, its the setting that makes Rodden River cabin so unique The cabin is independent from the main house and garden. Parking is private beside the stables, the cabin has access to the immediate area around and the field next-door but not to the main garden I am on text all the time, so happy for messages Rodden Manor is a private house just outside of Frome. We are a 15 min walk to centre of the historic town which is full of interesting independent shops, characterful pubs and delicious restaurants. 5 Minutes away from Longleat, a short drive to the Hauser and Wirth gallery in Bruton, Babington House is less than 15 minutes drive away and Stourhead is 15 minutes away with beautiful walks.
