Swallow Barn, Erpingham

Swallow Barn is a self-contained wing of our home. We use it for our friends and family and as holiday accommodation. It comprises a large bedsit, a separate kitchen with full sized oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer and ceramic hob, a large bathroom with an over-bath shower, a small second bedroom with a 3" divan, a hallway and its own front door. We are situated between Aylsham and Cromer and are in a good location for visiting the coast and NT properties nearby. We have a large wild-life friendly garden and orchard which you are welcome to share. There is an unfenced wildlife pond at the end of our garden, a good distance from the house. A foot path runs along one boundary of our property and across the field behind us. We live on the property and at least one of us is pretty much always around. We are lucky to have a number of good pubs and restaurants nearby. The Saracen's Head, The Walpole Arms and The Bucks Arms are all less than a 15 minute drive away. Alby Crafts, with excellent coffee, tea and lunch facilities, is a five minute walk along the lane and through their lovely grounds and gardens. Although we are in a very quiet country location, there is a regular (half hourly) bus service to Cromer, Sheringham, Aylsham and Norwich a ten minute walk away along the lane and a public footpath. We have a friendly if sometimes rather noisy cockapoo. He won't trouble you at all, but if you are allergic to dogs this may not be the property for you.
