Spacious, light, modern, open plan, 2 bed house with large living room/kitchen/diner. The Lodge has everything you would expect from a nice hotel; freshly laundered sheets and towels, clean rooms with ensuites, but it also has the comfort and flexibility to feel like home. Easy transport links to A140 and A14 Needham Market, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Norwich, Cambridge, Suffolk coast, Woodbridge, Lavenham. One ensuite double (4ft 6) bedroom and one twin (3ft) loft room with bathroom. Large patio area with outdoor seating, open countryside views and charcoal BBQ. Games room with darts and table football in detached garage (unheated). Private entrance with plenty of parking. Tucked away down a no through road, you will share the lodge gardens and the peace and quiet of the countryside with the local wildlife; hares, deer, rabbits, pheasants and song birds. Enjoy the big Suffolk skies and watch the beautiful sunrise and sunsets. We will welcome you with tea and coffee (nespresso pods), milk in the fridge, and a sweet treat. We love the outdoors and fires! Spend the evening gazing at the stars with a firebowl and marshmallows (bonfire starter pack available on request). The Lodge has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and cooking equipment. The downstairs is light and spacious with a double ensuite shower room and stairs leading to the loft room with shower over bath. Please note that the loft room has limited headroom in places due to the sloping roof. All of the lodge is for your own private use. The owners live in the adjoining property. You will have total privacy with a separate driveway and key safe for flexible entry. We live next-door so can be available if you have any questions or need any help. The Lodge is tucked away down a no through road and is surrounded by woods and farmland. We have direct access to footpaths with a circular walk to Coddenham and plenty more to explore. Nick can advise you on running routes if that is your thing! We enjoy an evening at the Highwayman which is 15 mins walk. A car is advisable due to the rural location although we are 5 mins in a taxi from Needham Market. Fresh milk, cheeses and meat are available from the local farm shop. No fire guard is supplied for logburner. Stairs may not be suitable for young children.
