Toni’s House Guest Accommodation is a cozy 30 sq.m studio apartment equipped with all the comfort you need. Set within walking distance to two bus stops, it allows to reach the city centre and the main city stations (La Spezia Migliarina and La Spezia Centrale) in a few minutes. Its suburban position consents to find easily a free parking spot. Despite that, you can reach the main city attractions in a few minutes ride. The heart of the hamlet where Toni's house is placed is one of the oldest urban settlement of the city; its thick walls houses follow one another along a stone way which once was part of the "salt route", an itinerary which led from La Spezia to Parma through the Appennines mountains. La Spezia city is blessed with a very enviable geographic position: beyond being the natural access to Cinque Terre, it lets you reach some of the most amazing Italian tourist destinations in a short time, both by car and by train: Carrara and its marble quarries are only 34 km far away Lucca is 78 km far away Pisa and its leaning tower are less than 80 km fram away Under 100 km or so there are Genova and Parma Florence and its marvelous monuments are reachable in a two hours car or train ride In the morning and in the evening a fast train connects La Spezia with Rome in less than three hours A visit to Lunigiana is strongly advisable: beautiful day trips let you discover ancient castles belonging to Malaspina family, traditional food and historical villages like Pontremoli and Fivizzano. In close proximity you will find two supermarkets (DiMeglio e CONAD), a bakery/pizzeria, a pharmacy and a shopping centre/mall (Le Terrazze) with restaurants and fast-food chains.
