Quiet and close to the beach

My place is close to the beach which is safe for swimming,surfing and SUP's. Just a few minutes walk to the shops , cafes , fantastic restaurants and movie theater. The hills around Sumner provide great walking and mountain biking tracks. Catch the local bus from outside the international/domestic terminal to a stop around the corner from my place on Nayland street. I can give you information around tips for travelling around Christchurch and the rest of NZ if required! I am usually available to socialise but equally I am happy to leave guests with sole access to the living space in the evening and retire to my space. (I have a busy job so sometimes that is a necessity!!!) The close proximity to the beach is the village is wonderful. Eat at Le Xom ( Vietnamese street food), Indian Summer, the Corner Bistro or Clink...all great! Have a glass of wine at sunset at the bar/restaurant right on the sand,or a morning coffee at Coffee culture.... Lots of choice! The local bus leaves from around the corner ( 4 min walk) so its easy to get to the city and goes directly to the airport.
