Being able to walk through into your own private area, with lots of light and airy space, and look beyond onto your own private patio and further onto the garden with Bay glimpses and cooling breezes.....that's a recipe for rest and relaxation! We follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol: o sanitize high-touch surfaces o use cleaners and hospital grade disinfectants o thoroughly clean each room o provide extra cleaning supplies o comply with local laws, on safety/cleaning guidelines Relaxing space, completely separate to owners (we live upstairs). Able to be completely self-contained. Own covered verandah for alfresco dining. Quiet, leafy neighbourhood bordering on Moreton Bay where many migratory birds visit. Cycle way, walking trail along foreshore links parklands. Very family friendly area. You're most welcome to access the back garden directly from your verandah. There's a quaint garden studio where you can relax, read a book, meditate, feel the cooling bay breezes or watch the birdlife in the garden. Living upstairs, we are available if you want local knowledge about things to do, places to eat etc. A folder in the apartment contains much information for you to peruse. We work on the principle that you are welcome to seek us out if you want; if you prefer privacy, we respect that. The leafy Thorneside neighbourhood is residential and is between Moreton Bay and Tingalpa Creek. Several parks are within this area and provide recreational facilities for families, all within a short walking distance from us. Two coffee shops are a few hundred metres along our road - an easy walk from our door to a relaxing place to sit and sip! We are close to Thorneside Station (we can pick you up) which is on the Cleveland rail line, linking Cleveland and Brisbane City. A local bus from Thorneside to Capalaba runs past our door on the hour (not Sundays). Local taxis are available. You have free offstreet, undercover parking provided. You have your own private entrance with a side path, so you can be completely private and don't need to go through the main entrance door to the house when entering or leaving the property.
