Set in the quiet grounds of a stunning eighteenth-century farmhouse courtyard, The ‘Hayloft’ is a beautiful spacious barn conversion once being the original hayloft above the stables. The location, being within walking distance of Norley village with a great local pub, as well as Delamere Forest and The Sandstone Trail offers for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The grounds have stunning, far-reaching views over the surrounding countryside. The ‘Hayloft’ accommodation is entirely separate from the main house with its own entrance up a set of outdoor steps. The barn, once having been the hayloft for the stables below, are still in use and, if you listen carefully you may even hear the horses quietly munching their hay! The large hallway extends into the spacious, open plan kitchen diner which is fully equipped including dishwasher, hob and fridge/freezer. There is a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer and an additional bathroom. There is a large sitting room with a fabulous log burner along with an area for those who can’t leave work behind and who need a desk to sit at. There are two large bedrooms, both with a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom with large shower and a walk-in wardrobe. Use of the orchard where there is a table and chairs for you to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful surroundings with views as far reaching as the Peak District. The property is ideal for hiking, cycling or riding (stables available at request) due to the vast number of footpaths, bridleways and cycle routes that the area offers; Delamere forest, the Oakmere Way, Whitegate Way and the Sandstone Trail are all accessible without a car. Further to this, we are perfectly located for: - Tatton flower show - Chester races - Delamere golf course - Oulton Park - Weddings at Delamere Manor/Nunsmere hall/Willington hall/Abbeywood estate - Many attractions are within easy distance including the cities of Chester, Liverpool and Manchester. For the more adventurous we are within a short distance of: - Go Ape - Crocky trail - Manley Mere - Wild Shore Water Sports and Aquapark. In addition, we are accessible to plenty of great local pubs, a village shop and are a five-minute drive from Delamere, Acton Bridge, Cuddington and Frodsham train stations. We look forward to welcoming you to ‘The Hayloft’ and ensuring you have a wonderful stay.
