Breton style, fully equipped house. Ground floor is open plan with spacious sitting area, kitchen & bathroom with walk-in large shower. First floor has two bedrooms one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. Also there is a bathroom with bath and overhead shower on first floor. Private, south facing walled garden with summer house. Within short walk to five restaurants, two pubs and a range of shops, including Intermarche supermarket, two boulangeries and a boucherie/epicerie. This two bedroom Breton style cottage is well-equipped and has been fully renovated with an immaculate and a high quality modern interior. It is ideally suited to a couple and there is space for a third guest or one child/baby. The ground floor is open plan and the living area is furnished with two sofas, cupboard unit, coffee tables, gate-leg dining room table with four chairs. There is a wood burning stove and flat screen TV (with Free View English channels and French channels ) with VHS video and DVD/CD player. The kitchen overlooks the patio and pretty garden. It is modern and fully equipped, with fitted cupboards, a breakfast bar and 4 high stools, built-in oven and hotplate, extractor fan, full height fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. The first floor has a 4’ 6” double bed in master bedroom with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, two bedside tables (with drawers), dressing table and chair and table in corner. The second bedroom has two 3’ single beds and 3 tall chests of drawers/cupboards and 1 low cupboard. The ground floor has a large shower, toilet and washbasin. There is also a bathroom on the first floor with bath and overhead shower, toilet and washbasin There is electric heating with thermostatic controls in each room including bath and shower room and air ventilation system. There is private access to the gite and private walled garden which is for the exclusive use of guests. The French doors from the house lead on to a large patio which catches the sun most of the day. There is a large attractive summer house which has an overhead heater and lighting. This area of the garden bathes in the evening sunshine and is an ideal place to watch the sun go down with a glass of wine or a gin and tonic. Garden furniture (table and 4 chairs on patio, two sun loungers and a table and four chairs in summer house) and a barbecue are provided. Guests have access to the whole house and private walled garden. Guests are met by an English speaking manager who lives nearby and is at the end of the phone to help. The cottage is in a conservation area near the Marie or Town Hall. All the neighbours are French and friendly. We own the house next door and are only there every few weeks. The cottage was created for our family to use. Whilst you can walk a lot around the village to the various restaurants and shops it's best to come by car so you can visit the nearby Chateau de la Roche Jagu, the coast and other villages. Parking is on the road outside the cottage. There are four marked bays, two either side of the entrance. Additional parking further along Rue du Liorzou or in nearby squares. Parking is free in Pontrieux. There are a few trains each day to Paimpol and Guincamp and you can take a boat trip down the River Trieux. Half a dozen restaurants and shops including an Intermarche supermarket and two boulangeries are all a short walk away. The cottage is on a small one way street in a very quiet area where you can sit out in the garden all day and evening.
