This is a shed with loft and a dry camping experience. The Lilly Pond House is located under the trees on a nearly 100 acre active farm overlooking the Lilly Pond. The Lilly Pond House has two loft areas containing a king and two twin mattresses. Climb the ladder to the loft for sleeping or sleep outside in your own tent. Propane BBQ with a burner, dining table and chairs and recliner in the main level make your stay comfortable. BRING YOUR OWN bedding, gear and food. Located on a 100 acre active farm at the edge of a semi-private pond is the Lilly Pond Cabin. The cabin does not have running water or power. or heat This is a dry camping type experience. The wooden 8ft tall ladder reaches the low level loft so you can bring your sleeping bags and crawl onto the 5 inch memory foam mattresses provided. Water is supplied at a spigot on the property and there is an outhouse and pump sink a moderate walk from the cabin. A 5 gallon carboy of water is available for purchase if you choose. Lighting is provided by your lanterns. If you want to use ours, bring 4 D and 4 AA batteries along with you. Flashlights are recommended for night walks. The farm boasts a 5 acre vegetable, flower and herb garden. Enjoy seasonal produce from the farm stand available for your purchase. At night when the lights are low and the sky is clear you can experience hundreds of stars overhead and the croaking of the frogs and crickets in the pond. WiFi is available on the farm, but you might have to walk a short distance to get reception. The access to the farm and on the farm are on gravel roadways. Some dust or mud should be expected depending upon the weather. There is parking for 2 vehicles. Additional parking may be prearranged. The cabin is located in a rural farmland area known as the American Bottom. With fertile soils, this are is known for abundant harvests of grass seed, blueberries, hazelnuts, vegetables, wine grapes, hops, mint, nursery stock, and many other crops. The access road to the farm and roadways on the farm are gravel. These roads can be dusty or muddy depending on the weather conditions. The farm has generally level and low slope terrain that is great for walking. The property is part of an active farm. Though semi-private areas around the cabin exist, the property is accessed by the hosts, farm/garden staff and others. There are chickens, including a rooster, and cats on the property.
