The combined kitchen and dining area seats sixteen for dining as is, with potential for more. (Function fees apply). Open the large glass sliding doors along the entire sea facing side of the home to experience indoor/outdoor living, dining and relaxing on the ocean front. In winter you can enjoy these views, as well as the rural and mountain views from the alluring warmth and comfort of the open fire place. Savour every view as you walk the length of the home, into the spacious hall (gallery), featuring oversized photographs of vintage Taranaki, to one of the three superior rooms, each with glass sliders to the ocean frontage, a large comfortable bed, seating, and a large flat screen t.v. with sky. Two of our rooms have a desk for your convenience, and limited WiFi is also provided. While this breathtaking home is the perfect escape all on it's own, there is only a short stroll to the sea, and there is also the opportunity to enjoy some of Taranaki's great attractions nearby. Pukekura Park has the Festival of the Lights running throughout the summer holidays, featuring free entertainment for the whole family, workshops, concerts and row boating on the lake in the midst of the lighten up park. The majestic Mount Taranaki provides some of taranaki's beautiful bush walks and hiking tracks and seasonal skiing. Gardens, zoos and galleries including the Len Lye Centre contribute to Taranaki's popularity all year round.
